Super Hairpieces is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and customers of www.superhairpieces.com and www.superhairpieces.ca. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, the service providers and technologies we use, and the privacy choices available to you.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect personal information directly from you, automatically through our websites, or from service providers and business partners.
Please do not provide payment card numbers, account passwords, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through ordinary live chat unless we specifically request information through an appropriate secure method.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with our websites and to measure and improve our services. GA4 may process cookies and similar identifiers, usage data, device and browser information, approximate location information, pages viewed and other website interactions.
We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing technologies to measure advertising performance and to show or measure advertising based on interactions with our websites.
We also use Google Ads Enhanced Conversions. Where enabled and permitted, Enhanced Conversions may send hashed first-party customer information, such as an email address, telephone number, name and/or address, to Google to improve conversion measurement. The exact fields used depend on our configuration and the information available at the time of conversion.
Google advertising technologies may also process conversion and website interaction events such as page views, searches, form interactions, product activity and purchases.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our websites and to identify usability and technical issues. Clarity may process usage and interaction data through cookies and similar technologies, including pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, navigation activity, device and browser information, heatmaps and session recordings.
We use Meta advertising services, including the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (CAPI), to measure advertising, understand how users interact with our websites and advertisements, and support advertising and remarketing.
Meta Pixel operates through the browser. Meta Conversions API can transmit conversion and event information from our systems to Meta server-to-server. Depending on the event and configuration, data may include website activity, commercial or transaction information, online identifiers, device information and customer information used for matching or measurement.
Our privacy and consent controls are intended to restrict applicable Google and Meta advertising tracking after a user exercises an applicable privacy opt-out or withdraws consent. Because some advertising technologies operate server-side, privacy controls must also be applied to those server-side events.
We provide live chat and customer support using Re:amaze. When you use our live chat, information contained in the conversation may be transmitted to, stored by and processed through Re:amaze on our behalf. This may include your messages, chat transcripts, contact information, customer or account information, order information, images or files you voluntarily provide, and related technical information.
We use this information to respond to questions, assist with products, orders, returns and other services, maintain customer-service records, and improve the quality and effectiveness of our customer support.
Re:amaze uses subprocessors to provide certain features of its services. Re:amaze identifies OpenAI as a subprocessor that may process communications and chat transcripts, including text or media provided during customer communications, for AI-assisted functionality.
This means information you provide through live chat may be processed using artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI to help provide customer support and assist with responses.
Re:amaze states in its Data Processing Addendum that subprocessors are subject to contractual data-protection requirements. OpenAI states that data submitted through its business and API services is not used to train or improve its models by default unless the customer affirmatively opts in.
We offer video consultations using Google Meet. Users may be given the choice to participate with or without recording.
We do not intentionally record a video consultation until the user has been informed that recording may occur and has chosen to participate with recording.
If you choose to participate in a recorded consultation, Google Meet may record the video and audio from the consultation. If transcription is enabled, a transcript may also be created. Recorded consultations are stored in Google Drive, and transcripts may also be stored through Google services where enabled.
We use recorded consultations and transcripts for customer support, maintaining consultation records, staff training, quality assurance and improvement of our services. Users who do not wish to be recorded may choose the non-recorded consultation option where available.
If you subscribe to our mailing list, create an account, make a purchase or otherwise provide your contact information, we may send service-related communications and, where permitted, marketing or promotional communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that help us operate our business, including ecommerce, hosting, payment, shipping, customer support, communications, analytics, advertising, fraud-prevention, security, AI, video, cloud-storage and professional-service providers.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, we use Google Ads remarketing and Meta advertising technologies, including Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. Depending on how those technologies are used, disclosures of personal information to advertising providers may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged.
During the preceding 12 months, categories of personal information that may have been disclosed for these advertising purposes include identifiers and online identifiers, Internet or electronic-network activity, commercial information, approximate geolocation information, advertising or measurement information, and inferences or advertising interests derived from activity.
Recipients may include advertising and analytics providers such as Google and Meta.
Where available, you may use the privacy choices control presented on our websites to opt out of applicable sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activities. When an applicable privacy opt-out or consent withdrawal is made, our advertising technologies are intended to be restricted or blocked in accordance with that choice, including applicable browser-side and server-side advertising events.
Some jurisdictions also recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). Our automated GPC handling is currently being updated. Until that update is complete, please use the privacy choices control on our websites or contact us at admin@superhairpieces.com to exercise an applicable opt-out right.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have privacy rights under applicable state law. Depending on your state and the law that applies to us, these rights may include the right to:
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), applies to us and you are a California resident, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as well as rights concerning certain uses of sensitive personal information.
The categories of personal information we may collect are described above and may include identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; Internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation information; audio, electronic or visual information; and inferences.
For CCPA purposes, our use of Google Ads remarketing and Meta advertising technologies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may use our privacy choices control to submit an applicable opt-out request.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
You may submit a request to access, know, delete or correct personal information by contacting us at admin@superhairpieces.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
You may submit an applicable sale/sharing or targeted-advertising opt-out through the privacy choices control on our websites.
We are continuing to improve our dedicated privacy-request channels. Additional request methods may be added to our websites as they are implemented.
If you are in Canada, you may have rights under applicable federal or provincial privacy law, including rights to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, ask how your information has been used or disclosed, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
To make a Canadian privacy request, contact us at admin@superhairpieces.com. Quebec residents and residents of other provinces may have additional rights under applicable provincial privacy laws.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and as required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and our legal and operational requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our company and service providers may process personal information in the United States, Canada and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for international processing and transfers.
Our websites and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our websites.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no single generally accepted standard governing DNT signals, and our websites may not respond to ordinary DNT signals. DNT is different from legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as GPC, which may carry separate obligations under applicable privacy law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, services or legal requirements. When required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
