During the years, we have had clients often request bleached knots on black/dark colored hair.

However, there are two major technical obstacles that prevent the bleached knot hairline from coming into reality.

1) Black colors including virgin black colors like #1 Jet Black or #11B Natural Black hardly reacts with the bleach powder mix.

Processed dark colors like the #1B Off Black and #2 Darkest Brown, will not always work within the safety time frame of the bleach powder mix.

2) Poly skin base types of toupees cannot have their knots bleached due to the fact that the base membrane of the unit does not allow water to penetrate through it. It is impossible to apply the bleach powder mix on the hair roots of the units.

With many new hand craftsmanship techniques applied into the manufacturing process, we are finally able to produce bleached knots on men's black hair for all kinds of toupee bases, including bio-skin polyurethane bases
